Mostly I would like to be remembered as someone passionate for life. I was the one who cultivated wonder, less one contented to explain, enduring for joy the years of pain, sacrificied for others needs.Remember me as someone who was
favored, despite constraints, ocean to what winds I could not be, night rider through worlds I could not see.
He restoreth my Soul Psalm 23:3

Robert Lee Willis was a 39 year old farmer, living in Grapeland when he died from tuberculosis. He had been suffering from tuberculosis since 1928. He was married at the time of his death.
