Died, Oct. 21, Aaron Collier, aged 60 years, at his home near here. Mr. Collier had been foreman at the cooper shops for twelve years, and by close attention to business won the esteem of his employer. He had been a member of the Christian church for twenty years. He had been a strong advocate of the Bible and was always ready to defend it. He served four years in the Union army, and was a member of the G.A.R. at Portsmouth, O. He was the last one of his family to pass over the dark river to meet loved ones gone before. He leaves a wife, son and four daughters to mourn his loss. He was a kind and devoted husband and a loving father.
