She was the daughter of Albert Lewis Blose and his wife Timanda Moyer both of Slatedale. She married Jacob William Rex in 1902 and together they had 11 children. Then she married his cousin Jerry Oliver Rex and they had 4 children. She is buried next to Jacob.

Mrs. Lizzie Rex

Mrs. Lizzie C. J. Rex, 75, widow. of Jacob W. Rex, died Saturday night at her Slatington R. 2 home. She had been ill eight days.

Born in Washington Township, she was a daughter of the late Albert L. and Timanda (Moyer) Blose.

She was of the United Church of Christ faith.

She was predeceased by her husband, parents, three sons and a daughter.

Surviving are five sons. Lewis, Lehighton R. 2; Richard, at home; Sherwood and Harry, both of Slatington R. 2. and Jacob, Slatedale; three daughters, Lillie, wife of Raymond Miller, and Beatrice, wife of Raymond Fritzinger, both of Slatington, and Norma, at home; a brother, Richard O. Blose, at home: 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday In the Elwood Heinzelman Funeral Home, Slatedale.
