Bessie B. "Bess" Bielfeldt, 91, Bloomington, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Monday (March 7, 2011) at her residence.
She was born Oct. 30, 1919 in Anchor to Carl and Marie Hoffman Lage. She married Harold F. Bielfeldt on Sept. 14, 1947 in Anchor. He passed away May 4, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Arnold, Rodell and Wayne Lage and two sisters, LuVerne Frankeberger and Esther Benway.
Surviving are two children, Janet (Ted) Harms, Greenwood Village, Colorado and Carmen (David) Burns, Champaign; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Harrison) Mann and Jeffrey Harms, both of Chicago; Andrew Burns, Mahomet; Tyler Burns, Orland Park and Casey Burns, Champaign; one sister, Cleo Korte, Bloomington; one brother, Willard (Martha) Lage, The Villages, Fl. and one brother-in-law, Edwin (Lois) Bielfeldt, Peoria.
