MARGUERITE M. SATER
Marguerite M. Sater, 85, Logan, died Tuesday, Jan. 7 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital.
Born Oct. 19, 1911, Union Furnace, she was the daughter of the late Addison Monroe and Charlotte Mae Oldfield Sater.
A Logan High School graduate, she was a 1932 graduate of Grant Hospital School of Nursing in Columbus. She was a retired registered nurse, having retired from Federal Glass Corporation, Columbus. She was a World War II Army veteran, where she served as a general duty nurse. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Helen Will of Columbus and Mrs. Irene Murtha of Logan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Edith Rempel, Evelyn Bond and Harriet Dollmatsch; and two infant brothers, George William and Sherman Ellsworth Sater.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, with the Rev. Ray Price officiating.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Hocking County Combined Veterans.
No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by the Roberts Funeral Home.
