"I found M. S. Moore and Mary E. Moore in the cemetery records at the Webster Co. Genealogy Society. M. S. Moore died 12 June 1867 at age 13. There was no tombstone in 1972. It says he is buried in the Haviland Cemetery. There is a note that says DAR records say he is buried in the German Lutheran Cemetery. I don't believe these are the same cemetery. I believe the German Lutheran and St. Paul Lutheran are the same. I found the same with Mary E., she died 19 April 1865 at the age of 10; is buried in the Haviland cemetery. DAR again says she is buried in the German Lutheran Cemetery. I think these cemeteries are in the same general area. I could find nothing in the newspaper indexes on their deaths and I don't believe the death records go back that far. The family lived in the vicinity of these cemeteries. I found Nathan Moore in the assessor books in Douglas twp. and later in Wahkonsa twp."

(Many thanks to Pat Conklin for the tremendous help)
