Mildred M. Charves, 55, a Fairfield CA resident since 1977, died at her home after a long illness. A native of Oakland CA, she was a dog groomer for 25 years. She formerly owned Irene's Grooming Parlor in Fairfield and was a member of the Scottish Terrier Club of America.
Survivors include her mother, Rose Bettinger of Suisun City CA and a brother, Lee Bettinger of London.
Burial will be at McBride Cemetery in McMinville OR. Local arrangements were by Fairfield Funeral Home.
