She was born in Page County, Virginia, and had lived in Delaware and Henry Counties since 1917. Mrs. Ramey was a member of Eastern Star 243 at Sulphur Springs and the Methodist Church in Virginia.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Howard Ross, R.R.4; two sons, Herman Ramey, R.R.5, and Everett Ramey, Cincinnati; a sister, Mrs. Fred Callan, Washington, D.C.; 12 grandchilren; and three great-grandchildren.
A son, Owen Hugh Ramey, died in service during World War II.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Meeks Mortuary. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
