    Helen K. Biever, 94, of Aurora passed away Friday, August 2, 2002 at Provena McAuley Manor in Aurora.
    Helen was born March 7, 1908 in Aurora to Catherine and Charles Kopp. She married Carl F. Biever on November 10, 1937. Carl passed away October 31, 1969. She was a member of Holy Angels Church and the St. Anne Society, the Child Welfare Society, Mercy Hospital, the Pressed Glass Club, the Aurora Womens Club, and the Aurora Country Club. Helen was an avid bridge player.
    Survivors include a son, Thomas (Kay) Biever of Peoria, IL.; a daughter Susan Grey of Glenville, NY.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Leona Readey of Aurora.
    She is preceded in death by her parents.
    Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. from the Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary to Holy Angels Church at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Victor H. Alcazar will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 7, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, IL. (630)898-8634. www.daleidenmortuary.com
