Wife of Jacob Waldermann.∼Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Barnett Waldmann, 71, of Wichita, Kan., who died there Friday, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Knox Memorial chapel, Rock Island. Rev. L.W. Johnson, Central Presbyterian church pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the McConnell chapel cemetery, Taylor Ridge. The body will arrive in Rock Island Sunday at 8 a.m.
Mrs. Waldmann, the former Miss Ida Barnett, was born in Bowling township in 1869, a daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Barnett. She was reared and educated in Bowling township and had resided in Wichita 35 years. Her husband and a daughter preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Bernard, Wichita; three sisters, Mrs. John Sears, Mrs. John Dee and Mrs. Elizabeth Joseph, and a brother, Bert G. Barnett, all of Rock Island. The Dialy Times, Davenport, Iowa, 29 Mar 1941, Saturday
