Marty Gosdin, the youngest son of Vern Gosdin, was murdered in Ellijay, Georgia in January of 2002. Marty was a fun-loving and very caring person; and would go out of his way to help others. He is survived by a son, his mother, two older brothers, and numerous other family members that loved Marty dearly.

ELLIJAY - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and local authorities believe an Ellijay woman drugged three men she was either married to or lived with, enough to kill two of them. 47 year old Pricilla Robinson allegedly gave the men lethal doses of prescription drugs in her apartment. Channel two talked to Laura Brown. Her friend was married to Robinson and almost died twice. Two weeks after he got home, she got her prescriptions and two weeks later Lamar had OD again, Brown said. The first case was in January and it killed Marty Gosdin, son of singer Vern Gosdin. 44 year old Stanley Carver died early in March. Robinson allegedly had a cupboard full of prescription medications in her Ellijay apartment with drugs ranging from methadone to valium
