Elizabeth Zadee Gillespie of Long Beach, died December 10, 2009, in Gulfport.Mrs. Gillespie was a native of Dunbar, WV, where she was a charter member of the Presbyterian Church in Dunbar. She had been a resident of Long Beach since 2000. Mrs. Gillespie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a friend to everyone she met and she brought sunshine to their life.Mrs. Gillespie is preceded in death by her parents, James & Zadee Rutledge; her husband, Carl Gillespie, and a grandson, Michael Sean Byrd.She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Al) Bauer of Gulfport, her son, David Eric Gillespie of Long Beach; her brothers, Bruce Rutledge, Marion Rutledge, and James Rutledge and her sister, Maryagnes, all of West Virginia; her grandchildren, Heather Dawn Sullivan of Charlotte, NC and Paul Thomas Lavender, Jr., of St. Albans, WV; and her great grandchildren, Heather Avada Sullivan of Charlotte, NC, Hugh Scott Sullivan of Charlotte, NC, Keegan Tate Lavender of St. Albans, WV, Jason Eric Meloy of Lancaster, OH, and Kelly Flowers.A graveside service will be Monday, December 14, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Long Beach City Cemetery.The family requests memorial contributions to Memorial Hospital Hospice, P.O.
