Norman W. Luke, age 93, of Kittanning, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital
He was born on January 30, 1918, in Kittanning, PA the son of George and Helen (Dowling) Luke.
Mr. Luke was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Kittanning. He was a former employee with the Armstrong School District where he had worked for over 17 years. He was a custodian at the former Spaces Corners School and the Kittanning Township Elementary School.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ethel W. (Wood) Luke with whom he shared 31 wonderful years of marriage and who died November 18, 2009; two sisters, Harriet Fry, and Rosetta Barker; and an infant brother, Ernest Raymond Luke.
Friends will be received from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA. Additional visitation will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at the funeral home until the time of funeral service at 11 AM with the Rev. Wayne R. Sawyer officiating.
Interment will be Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
