Mary Jo Autry Neff, 82, Brandenburg, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at her home.

Born March 11, 1928, in Centertown, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Etta Decker Autry.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Calvin Neff, and a daughter, Elizabeth Jane Rigdon.

Survivors include eight children, George Larry Neff of Georgetown, Michael Terry Neff of Henryville, David Bruce Neff of Fairfax, Va., Lanny R. and Mary Ann Neff, both of Brandenburg, Jack L. Neff of Carmi, Ill., Ellis Lee Neff of Tennessee and Mark Douglas Neff of Crandall; two sisters, Eva Mae Grant of Owensboro, Ky., and Louise Beshear of Arkansas; 23 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (EST) and Wednesday, March 9, after 9 a.m. at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg.

Funeral: Wednesday, March 9, at noon at the funeral home with burial to follow in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown.

The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Red Cross.
