Albert John "Red" Eagon, 64, of 144 1/2 E. Greene St., Waynesburg died suddenly at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 1964, at his home of a coronary occlusion. He was born June 13, 1900 at Rogersville to the late Jesse R. and Rebecca Crouse Eagon. Mr. Eagon was a retired bartender who had been employed at the old Walton House and more recently at Jimmie's Lunch. He resided in Rogersville most of his life and spent the last few years in Waynesburg. He was a member of the Rogersville Christian Church and the Loyal Order of Moose, 461 of Waynesburg. His widow, Mrs. Mildred Cox Eagon, survives. They were married August 3, 1932. Also surviving are one son, John of Couina, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Alfred "Margaret Jean" Maryanski of Washington RD 3; three grandchildren; one brother, Allen B. of Pittsburgh and three sisters, Mrs. Cassie Flack and Mrs. Artie Barb, both of Taylorstown and Mrs. Margaret Russell of Houston, Tex. Four sisters and two brothers are deceased.
