He was preceded in death by his wife of fourty-four years, Aline Huenefeld. He is survived by six children and three stepchildren and their spouses: Mary and Kevin O'Rourke of Hastings, Nebraska, Marilyn and Jeff Storie of Kansas City, Kansas, Barbara Smith of Ogden, Iowa, David and Teri Huenefeld of Bath, Pennsylvania, Charles and Pam Huenefeld of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Rhonda Knight of Kansas City, Kansas. His stepchildren include Schyrel and Don Mullins of Frisco, Texas, Don and Susan Snowden of Plano, Texas and Kathie and Welton Belcher of Midlothian, Texas. Grandchildren include, Jennifer Sipes, Elizabeth Misic, Katherine Smith, Sean Smith, Holli Huenefeld, Sam Scaggs, Tara Wilson, Dylan Murphy, and Marissa Murphy, Kelli Hunt, Keith Mullins, Tracy Lujan, Craig Belcher, Randy Sheffield, Alice Sheffield, Bart Snowden, Clint Snowden and Allison Couturiaux. There are also 12 great-grandchildren.
