Ada L SLife, 83, a longtime Central City resident, died Saturday morning in the Luterhan Home, Strawberry Point. She was born Aug 21, 1902 in Linn County, and married Ralph Slife in August 1919 at Central City. He died in 1966. Mrs Slife was a member of the North Linn Saddle Club. Surviving are a son, DeVere Slife of Redondo Beach, Calif; a brother, Lloyd Henderson of Central City; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Services: 1:30 pm Tuesday, United Methodist Church, Central City by the Rev Mark Oliver. Burial: Mt CLark Cemetery, Central City.
