Noah Wilmore died at his home in Plum Tree Wednesday morning after an illness lasting more than two years. He was a sufferer from Bright's disease which complicated with the infirmities of old age caused his death.
The deceased was born in Jackson, Ohio, September 9, 1826, and at the time of his death was aged 77 years and 14 days. He is survived by his wife and three children, two sons, James and William, and one daughter, Mrs. William P. Hubartt. He had lived in and near Plum Tree during the past twenty-five years.
The funeral was held from the M.E. church at Plum Tree on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. J.M Rittgers of Huntington, conducted, the services and the burial was at Yankeetown cemetery.
