Mary loved dance and was an instructor at Arthur Murray's School of Dance. She was employed in the Medical Billing Department at Sparrow Hospital until her retirement.
After moving to Charlotte she became a volunteer with Helping Hands.
She is survived by her daughter Julie (Mike) McLeod, son Rex Estes both of Charlotte; her two grandchildren Cortney (Charles) Emerson, and Cari McLeod and Orande Shaw; and three great grandchildren Benjamin and McKenzie Emerson, and Dimitry Shaw.
Friends and Family are invited to a Family Affirmation Service Wednesday March 9, 2011, at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte with Rev. Rich Mitterling officiating.
