"Kenneth W. Redmon, 84, loving husband of Jean Redmon for 50 years, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at UK Hospital. Born in Frankfort, he was a son of the late Charles and Sylvia Redmon. He was retired from Dura Corp. and was a WW II Army veteran. Survivors other than his wife are his children, Michael, Vicky Roark, Kenneth F. (Diane) and Timothy C. (Susan) Redmon, all of Lexington; five grandchildren, Lindsey, Bren, Cameron, Sarah and Megan; one great-grandchild, Aaleicia; and two brothers, Charles Redmon, Spokane, WA, and Donald Gene Redmon, Frankfort. He was preceded in death by a brother, Phil Redmon. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Monday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday."
