Jefferson T. Hunnicutt was one of seven children born to Samuel J. Hunnicutt and Leah Dora Truett Hunnicutt. His siblings were: Ruby, Charles, Cora, Ruth, Bonnie and James Mack, all of whom are deceased, with the exception of James Mack. Jeff and his family grew up on Deep Creek in Bryson City, NC. Jeff married Ollie Burchfield and together they had 3 children, Virginia, Lois and Donald Hines Hunnicutt. They made their home on Meadow Branch in Topoca, NC. Jeff was preceded in death by his son Donald. Ollie and Lois have since passed away, leaving Virginia, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to carry on their legacy. They are greatly missed.
