Helen passed away July 15, 1995 at the age of 82.
Born August 5, 1912 to Benjamin E. and Abbie Cowley Harker. She married Jean Kimball Bingaman September 24, 1938 in Santa Cruz, California. He preceded her in death. She graduated from LDS High School and the University of Utah with a BS and a teaching diploma.
Active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions. Helen worked as a secretary for the Key Bus Company in California and for the State of Utah for many years.
She was instrumental in the historic restoration of the 18th Ward Chapel.
Survived by many cousins and nephews. Preceded in death by her brother, Hal Harker.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday, July 21, 1995 in the Colonial Hills 1st Ward Chapel, 1455 South 1700 East, where friends may call from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
