The Colleton County, South Carolina native had lived in Reidsville many years moving to Shellman Bluff 60 years ago. She owned and operated Kip's Fishing Camp and was the oldest member of Shellman Bluff Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clifford "Kip" Smith.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Allen C. "Kip" Smith of Hazlehurst, Phillip B. and Nina Smith of Shellman Bluff; brother, Judge W. A. "Gus" Bootle of Macon; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 9:00 a.m., Saturday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 7, in the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home in Reidsville.
Burial: Reidsville City Cemetery.
Remembrances: Shellman Bluff Baptist Church.
