Lusina Hill Denoewer Brown (6/2/1873 Pa.-1949) was the daughter of Orrin Perry (1825-1906) and Elimra J. Lamb Hill 1841-1922).

Her siblings were: Elizabeth Hill (1846), Eulalia Hill Barnes (b. 1848-1926) (William Barnes), Julia Minerva "Jennie" Hill Lannon (b. 1852), and Arvilla Hill (b. 1858).

Her half siblings, same father, were:
William Hill(1861-), Amelia Hill (1862-), Mary Hill (1863-), Nettie M Hill Green(married Clarence Green and later Frank Green)(1866-), Orin Sheldon Hill (1869-1936)(Mina Rarey Hill), Thomas Gardner Hill (1872-1916) (Nettie May Rarey Hill), and twin sister Lovina Hill Glover (William Glover) (1841-1960).

She married Frank Noewer/Denoeower/DeNoewer (4/1869-3/24/1911-13), Timothy Donovan on 7/24/1916 and later married Charles D. Brown (8/24/1875-5/6/1940). Lusina's obit says 1911 for Frank other records say 1913 death date

Note: There are a few different spellings of DeNoewer, Denoeower, Noewer, De Noewer that the family used. Plus, Losina used; Lusinda, Lusina, Ca Lusina.

Their 11-12 children were:
1. Cordelia Mae DeNoewer Scheid (4/15/1891 Pa.-1955) (sp. Fred Joseph Schied (4/22/1909 Ohio-) (parents Peter and Rosa Schied), they had one child Chester F. Scheid (1918-1962)),
2. George John DeNoewer (3/8/1894-7/14/1931) (sp. Ethel Mabel McClintock DeNoewer)(they had seven children).
3. Hazel DeNoewer (1/3/1896 0r 1884-1/1970) Scheid (Harry G. Scheid),
4. Vida Marie DeNoewer Clark (1897 PA-1958) (sp. Harry M. Clark 10/4/1919-)),
5. Frank E. DeNoewer (5/1898-1967) (sp. Helen Jennery DeNoewer),
6. Anna L. DeNoewer(1904-7/13/1928) Hitzman (sp. Buriel Hitzman).
7. Nathan Perry DeNoewer (5/15/1905-4/20/1952) spouses Florence Sarver, Eva Jean McHugh and Lilyan Greenwald.
8. Chester DeNoewer(1907-1952). May have been Cordelia's son.
9. Kenneth H. DeNoewer (12/23/1910-4/1/1945) (sps. Lillian G Willoughby (1909-1972) married, 26 Apr 1927 divorced Apr 1933. They had 1 daughter Audrae Jean DeNoewer 1929-1977, also, married Marie Usenik (1910-1938) married on Feb 21 1934, she died on 3/3/1938, her children with Kenneth were: Kenneth John, Gloria, Charles David, Arlene, Penney Irene and Joann. Then Kenneth married Ethel Krouse (1916-) on 2/1939 in Clevelnad-bottom of Licence, stated marriage not solemnized. Then he married Katherine Elizabeth Kipp (1917-1994) abt 1939, they had at least 1 son Edward Lawrence 1941-2008.
So far his children are: Audrea Jean (11/27/1927-), Kenneth Jr. (5/3/1932-2/14/2003), Gloria, Charles David (8/24/1934-10/5/1993), Edward Lawrence, Arlene, JoAnn DeNoewer Stinziano, Penny Irene (7/2/1946-), and Georgianne Yvonne (10/3/1938-). The obit said nine children. He was killed in 1945 in WWII, in Germany, at the age of 35
10. Frederick Denoewer (9/17/1913-) was siaded to be a twin of Edward's, I can't find anying on him except a family record. I'm thinking he may have died at birth?
11. Edward DeNoewer (9/17/1913-9/2/1966)(sp. Olga Usenik sister to Marie, one of Kenneth's wives).
Also, one step-brother: Lester Brown (1907-). He married Lillian/Lilyan Greenwald (on 12/19/1931) DeNoewer (1905-1954). FamilySearch
12. Fredrick DeNoewer - twin to Edward (9/17/1913-).
There is a mention by Mark Glover of Fredrick but no where else is name found. I'm thinking the child may have died at birth and there was no record or it is a mistake?

There was more then one spelling for (Olga and Marie)Usinick, and Unsenik too. The names is Czechoslovakia. Parents were John and Mary (Potocar) Usinicnik.

MRS LUSINA BROWN
Mrs. Lusina Brown who is survived by five children, 28 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, is to be buried tomorrow in East Cleveland Cemetery after services at 2:30 pm at the Smith funeral home, 15319 St. Clair Avenue N.E.

Mrs. Brown, who was 77, died Friday while sewing at her home, 7030 Lexington Avenue N.E.

Born in Portville, N.Y., she had lived in Cleveland the last 35 years. She was married first to Frank DeNoewer, who died in 1911, then to Charles D. Brown, a former conductor on the New York Central Railroad, Who died nine years ago. Three children also preceded Mrs. Brown in death, including Kenneth DeNoewer, killed in the Battle of the Bulge.

Her surviving children are, Mrs. Mae Scheid, Mrs. Vida Clark, Frank Noewer, Nathan and Edward Denoewer. Also surviving her are her twin sister, Mrs. Lovina Glover, and a stepson, Lester Brown.

In the 1900 census: Frank, Lusina, Cordelia, George, and Frank E, were living in Eldred Township bourough, McKean, PA. Family search.
