Mary "Polly" Conkright was born about 1794 in the state of New York. Possibly the daughter of Henry Conkright (NOT CONFIRMED.)
She married Samuel S. Roberts on June 25, 1820 in Bath, Steuben County New York after 5 minutes of courtship. They had four children: Daniel Sheldon, Mary Elizabeth, Erastus G .and Malinda Ann Roberts. They migrated to Carthage, Athens County, Ohio by 1830 where they can be found in the census until after 1850 when the family had moved on. Daniel and Mary Elizabeth to Missouri and Erastus G. to Colorado.
Mary Conkright Roberts died about 1880 in Boulder County, Colorado. Family records state she is buried in the same cemetery as her son, Erastus G. Roberts but she has no stone marking her grave.
