OBITUARY

Ike Britt Rites Held Wednesday
Funeral services for Ike Britt, 90, of Aspermont and formerly of Lamesa, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Aspermont with the REV. Bill Stockman, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Aspermont Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Britt died at 12:30 a. m. Monday in Stonewall Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
The Eddie, N. M. native married Edna Vaughn in 1909 in Aspermont. She died in 1918.
Britt was a retired farmer and had lived in the Lamesa area since 1920.
Survivors include two sons, Elmer of Richmond, Calif., and O. C. of Fort Worth; a daughter, Mrs. Ennis Lansdon of Citrus Heights, Calif.; two sister, Alice Wischert of Andrews and Elsie Sanders of Kerrville; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: J. D. Parker, Carl Dickerson, Howard Clements, Jack Drennan, John Anderson, and Dan Thorp.
