Funeral services for Anna Swyter, 86, life-long resident of Titonka, will be held today, Thursday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Good Hope Lutheran Church. Rev. Herbert Hanson will officiate and the ____ Home is in charge of arrangements. Music for the service will be provided by Mrs. Leonard Leeck, organist, and the church choir.
Serving as casket attendants will be Meint Huesman, Clarence Brandt, William Brandt, Edward Stecker, Alfred Redenius and Elmer Wiegand. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Anna Swyter was born February 2, 1888 at Titonka, the daughter of Claus and Sophia (Rehder) Heesch. On March 4, 1931, she was married to William Swyter at Nashua. He preceeded her in death in 1954.
Mrs. Swyter passed away on Monday, January 20 at the Titonka Care Center.
She is survived by three sister, Mrs. Adeline Meyer of Cushing, Okla., Mrs. Reinhard (Adele) Dirksen and Miss Amanda Heesch, both of Des Moines and nephews and nieces.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers.
