Mrs. Maggie B. McClelland, wife of Lawrence W. McClelland, died at 2:45 a.m. Monday at the family home at 1022 Kirby Ave. after a four day illness. The daughter of David I. and Sophia Stout Miller, pioneer Delaware County residents, she was a lifelong resident of this county.
Surviving are the husband; a son, James Joe McClelland; a daughter, Henrietta Marie McClelland; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Coton and Mrs. John Brewer, both of Muncie, and Mrs. Lester Stewart of Union City; and four brothers, Albert and Paul Miller, both of Muncie, and Frank and Roy Miller, both of Delaware County.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Meeks Mortuary with burial in Hawk Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
