BILLY JOE JONES
Billy Joe Jones, 42, Kansas City, Kansas, formerly of Nevada, died Monday at Bethany Medical Center. Kansas City, Kansas.
Born June 2, 1937, in Nevada, he moved to Kansas City about 20 years ago. He was an veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a musician, and played at Sun House Pizza and Pub Inc., in Kansas City.
Survivors include three sons, William Austin Jones and Michael Jones, both of St Joseph, and Bill Joe Jones Jr., Kansas City, Missouri; his mother, Leona Jones, Kansas City, Kansas, two brothers, Carl Jones, Jasper, and Richard Lee Jones, Portland, Oregon, three sisters, Betty Jean Willcutt, Kansas City, Kansas, and Ruby Dailey and Barbara Palmer, both of Kansas City.
Services will be at 10 a.m Friday at the Wornall Funeral Home, Kansas City, Missouri, with graveside rites at 3 p.m. Friday in Waters Cemetery near Jasper.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m.
