SHREVEPORT, LA – Betty Herold Meyer died at Schumpert Medical Center on Friday, May 8, 1992. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Shreveport. Officiating will be Rev. Frank Wilson.
Betty was a native of Dallas, Texas and a resident of Shreveport since 1940. She graduated from Byrd High School and attended the University of Texas.
She is survived by her two daughters, Evelyn Hoeflinger and Laura Hoyt; one sister, Carol Clarke and two grandchildren, Hunter and Jordan Hoeflinger.
Pallbearers will be Reginald Hoyt, Thomas Hoeflinger, William Cody, Peyton Moore, Jerry Neel and Richard Hollier.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
