Jennie "Becky" Manasco, 91, of Amarillo died Tuesday, March 1, 2011.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Jennie was born June 11, 1919, in Mora, N.M., and was raised in New Mexico. She had been in Amarillo since 1952 and worked as a waitress. She was a simple lady, but one that was generous to a fault to all that she knew.

The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the staff at Plum Creek Specialty Hospital for their loving care over the past two years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Nellie Robinson; and her husband, Edgar David Manasco.

Survivors include a son, J.L. Skeen and wife Sharry of Amarillo; a sister, Pearl Vaughn of Canyon; a brother, Frank Robinson of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Steve Skeen and son Jacob, and Tiffnie Beckett and husband David, both of Amarillo, Alisha Begin and husband Tommy of Portland, Ore.; and her great-grandchildren, Joshua Beckett and Rachel Beckett, both of Amarillo, and Jennifer Almeman, Jamie Johnson, Jeff Walstead and Jessie Begin, all of Portland.
