Frances Jane Farley,born 1843 in Allen Co., KY ,& died March 10, 1911 in Melissa, Collin Co.,TX. She married Aug 22 1867 in Edmonson Co., Ky (at the home of Joseph Farley) to Wiley Marion Stice.

She was a daughter of Joseph Farley & Sally(Hood)Farley

Grandma Stice passed away three miles north of Melissa MRS. STICE departed this life March 10, 1911. Thie good woman lived to see her 68th year. Her maiden name was Frances Jane Farley. She was married to Wylie Marion Stice in 1867. There were given to this happy union seven children, six of whom are living. Mrs. Stice became a member of the Missionary Baptist Church twenty eight years ago and has lived a consistent life ever since. She has left behind six children, a weeping husband and a host of friends and relatives. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. M. Cook. Her body was tenderly laid to rest in Highland Cemetery to sleep until the coming of the Lord.
