Beaverton – Funeral services were held Saturday morning from Pegg's Chapel, Beaverton for John Alvie McCann, who had resided on Denney road for the past six years. Interment was at Crescent Grove Cemetery.
Mr. McCann was born May 11, 1860 near Gaston. Surviving are the widow, Nora S. McCann; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Fisher of Portland and Mrs. Margaret Kahr of Beaverton; three sons, Bruce McCann of Manning, Earl McCann of San Francisco, and Theodore McCann at home; a sister, Mrs. Mary Baker of Oregon City, and a brother, Mr. Edward McCann of Oregon City.
