Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Attoyac Baptist Church in San Augustine County, Texas with Bro. Milton Poindexter officiating. Interment will follow at Attoyac Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Verlene Evett of Spring, TX; daughters Sandra Darlene Cooling and husband Tim of Mont Belvieu, TX, Kimberly Dale Hardman and husband John of Spring, TX; son Roger Dale Evett, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Roanoke; father Levi Evett of San Augustine, TX; Grandchildren Jake Tyler Evett, Lucas Wayne Gantt, Logan Dale Gantt, Mike Grace Evett and Landon Dale Evett; brothers Herschal Lee Evett and wife Linda of Pearland, TX and Rhonnie Joe Evett and wife Pam of San Augustine; sister Beverly Ann Sowell and husband Byron of San Augustine.
He was preceded in death by his mother Edna Oleta Evett, father-in-law, and mother-in-law William and Tassie Womack.
