AGED RESIDENT DIES AT HOME TUESDAY
Mrs. Ida America McQueen, 84, a long time resident of Hindsboro and Douglas County passed away at her home at 8 O'clock Tuesday evening. She had been critically ill for two weeks, Durning this time here children had tenderly cared for her. A daughter Mrs. Mame Hammer had made here home with her in her declining years.

She was born 30 Dec. 1868 near Paris, daughter of George and Any Allison Johnson. The family moved to Sargent Township when she was a baby and she spent the rest of her life in Douglas County.

She was married to Albert McQueen in 1884. He died in 1947. They were married 64 years.

She was a member of the local Christian Church and the Kings Daughters class, an charter member of the O. E. S. and a member of the Hindsboro women's Club.

Surviving are three sons, G. E. of Blue Mound, Harold J., Kenneth A. both of Hindsboro, Two daughters, Mrs. Mayme Hammer and Mrs. Flow Harvey, Hindsboro, nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held This Thursday at 9 P.m. at he local Christian church, with Rev. HaroldPAddeek officiating. Burial at Van Voorihis cemetery. HINDSBORO NEWS, Hindsboro, Douglas County, Illinois.
