Services for Lula Grace Brisby Hunter, 89, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at G.W. William Tabernacle Baptist Church in Bryan.

The Rev. M.D. Morgan of Greater Salem Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at People's Mortuary, and a wake service will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hunter died Monday at Bryton Health Center in College Station.

She was born in Ennis, Texas, and was a member of Greater Salem Baptist Church and the president of the church choir. She was the president of Mission No. 1, secretary of her church and taught Sunday school.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter C. Hunter Sr.

Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Peter L. Jr. and Estelle Hunter of Corpus Christi, Bennie Joe and Estelle Hunter, Jeffery and Anna Hunter and Freddie G. and Alma Hunter, all of Bryan, Ernest R. and Brenda Hunter of Austin; seven daughters and five sons-in-law, Charlie Mae Lott of Minneapolis, Minn., Alice and Joe Wilbert, Elizabeth and James Sterling, Katherine and Charles Langston and Bobbie Figures Jones, all of Bryan, Eliza Mae and Herman Wilson of Seattle, Wash., and Linda Joyce and Jimmy Robertson of Sugar Land; a brother, Andrew Brisby of Las Vegas, Nev.; 37 grandchildren,; 60 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
