She was united in marriage to Thomas J. Myers, July 21, 1865. She leaves a husband, four sons and four daughters, five brothers, ten sisters and nine grandchildren, to mourn her departure, one daughter having died in infancy. She became a member of the M. E. church at Nevada Mills, in 1893. She has been a good, faithful wife and mother, all through life.
She will be greatly missed by her many friends and neighbors. Although severely afflicted for some time past, she has shown her Christian character and faith, and assured those who cared for her that she was prepared for her eternal home.

Mrs. Catherine Myers died Thursday morning, after a painful illness of many weeks. She was a patient sufferer and bore her trials and afflictions in this life without complaint. The tie that bound the family together has now been severed, and her children can say, "What is home without a mother?"
