Funeral services for Sarah Adah Fleming, 86, of Jacksonville, who died at her daughter's home, 1031 Winchester St., will be held in Conger-Morris Chapel Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Norman K. Tully, of the Presbyterian church, Central Point and Jacksonville, officiating. Committal will be Jacksonville cemetery.
Pall bearers will include George Green, Mindo Schmidt, Chester Pursell, Earnest McIntyre, Jim Gwin and Earnest Dukeshire.
The deceased was born in Center Grove, Iowa, on September 23, 1869. Her husband Edward Aaron, died in 1947. Mrs. Fleming, a resident of Jacksonville for 40 years, was a member of the Presbyteria church of Jacksonville and had ben a member of the first library board of Jacksonville.
Survivors include three sons, Bruce and Harley, Jacksonville, and Henry, Olive, B.C., two daughters, Mrs. Belle Gillings, Medford and Mrs. Ruth Winter, Klamath Falls; two brothers, Rev. O.P. Bell, Riverside, California, and Ray Bell, Atlantic, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Renninger, Lake Placid, Florida, and Miss Jane Bell, Tarkio, Missouri; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
