Luther DeWitt Smith, 83, of Hubbard died at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oakview Manor Nursing Home in Hubbard.
Funeral services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Eubanks Chapel in Hubbard, the Rev. Gardner Ellis and the Rev. A. Bailey Duncan officiating, burial in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Survivors: three daughters, Mrs. D. W. Christian of West, Mrs. Ralph Tomlinson of Lorena, Mrs. Wallace Cox of Waco; four sons, R. C. Smith of Joshua, Dean H. Smith of Dallas, C. W. Smith of Corpus Christi, R. L. Smith of Crowley; two sisters, Mrs. L. N. Yeager of Navasota, Mrs. John Williams of Wichita Falls; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
