Frederick Nicholas Van Petten (1712-1771) and his son, Philip Frederickse Van Petten (1742/1743 - 1812) as Phillip appears to be the only one of this family attached to Col. Wemple's 2nd Albany Militia.
Buried on the Van Patten Farm, he served 4 years in Col. Wemple's 2nd Albany Militia in the Revolutionary War.
In 1865 his stone was moved to Vale Cemetery from the Hutchinson Road Van Patten Cemetery.Revolutionary War
