Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, for William Henry Bascom, aged 80 years, who died at his West Lake St. home, last Wednesday night, following a long illness. He was born in 1867 in Starke County and spent the most of his life in Knox and vicinity where he was engaged in farming. Only survivors are a sister, Mrs. Madora McCrackin and several nieces of Knox and a nephew, Charles McCrackin of Milford, Indiana. Services were in charge of Rev.R.S. Rains and burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery.
