Helen May (Bigler)Goltl, 81, of Canon City died July 6, 1994.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Holt Family Chapel of the Garden in Canon City, with the Rev. Bob Farrell officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Canon City.

Mrs. Goltl was born Nov. 27, 1912, in Yuma County to Ira S. Bigler and Minnie Adeline Coleman.

She was married Nov. 10, 1931, to Henry Joseph Goltl, who is deceased.

She is survived by a son, Darrel L. of Colorado Springs; a daughter, Lynette W. Mondy of Canon City; a sister, Hazel L. Lucero of Canon City; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Mrs. Goltl and her husband had lived in eastern Colorado and Herndon, Kan., and for 10 years in the Ellicott area before moving to Colorado Springs. They retired to Canon City in 1971, where she was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
