Young Girl Dies in Hospital Here
Mattie Lou Castleberry Laid to Rest near Adel Monday
Mattie Lou Castleberry, 5, daughter of Ervin Castleberry of Sylvester, died early Sunday night at a Moultrie hospital after an illness of two weeks.
Funeral services were conducted at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon from the graveside at Rountree cemetery near Adel, Ga., with the Rev. J. J. Weeks in charge.
The little girl was born in Brooks County, Ga., on June 6, 1937; death came at 7 p.m. here.
Surviving are her father; two brothers, Benjamin and Jesse Castleberry of Sylvester and three sisters, Mary Ellen, Myrtle, and Shirley Ann Castleberry of Sylvester.
