DESPONDENCY CAUSE OF SUICIDE SUNDAY NOON
Ernest Arthurs, aged 26, who had been a resident of Anadarko for some time, having moved here from Binger, committed suicide in the back yard at his mother-in-law's home, 202 West Kansas, at noon Sunday, Sept. 16 by shooting himself. Despondency was assigned as the cause of the act. The body was placed in charge of the Gish Funeral Home and was taken to his former home at Binger where interment was made in the cemetery there Monday. A large crowd was present at the funeral.
