Mr. Clark died on Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born on Feb. 21, 1920, in Overton County to the late Mr. and Mrs. John W. Clark. Mr. Clark was a retired truck driver. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of First Christian Church of Cookeville.
His family includes three sons, Johnny Clark of Cookeville; Teddy Clark of Algood and Thomas Clark of
Valdosta, GA; a sister, Mrs. Chester (Pearl) Mullins of Byrdstown; four stepgrandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Olene Clark, and several brothers and sisters.
