John F. Moore, 91, of Jordan passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by family. He was a life resident of the Jordan-Elbridge area. John retired from New Process Gear where he was a machine operator for several years and a member of the UAW Union. Since the beginning of the Jordan Fall Festival, John was a volunteer and a "go to person" to get things done. He was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters and a volunteer and long time supporter of the J-E Food Pantry. He attended the Jordan United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 70 years Carolyn Plantz Moore, sons Jon Moore (Vicki), Don Moore (Judy), Ron Moore (Tammy), daughters, Karen Roberti, Linda Daly (John), Susan Mills, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Calling hours will be noon to 2pm Wednesday, Aug. 11th at the Jordan United Methodist Church with a service to follow at 2pm. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the J-E Food Pantry.
