Henry was the son of Maria Sarah (Schaffer) & Johannes "John" T. Albright. (Got his middle initial of M. off Civil War draft records in 1863)

His married Sovinah Miller on Jan. 4, 1854 in Crawford County, OH. They had 4 children together: Mary Matilda (b. 6/23/1854), Isaac (b. 8/30/1856), John (b. 1858) & Agnes V. (b. 1/27/1863).

After Sovinah passed away he married Laura Jane Noblit on Sept. 24, 1867 in Crawford County, OH. They had 4 children together: Charles H. (b. 6/11/1868), Fred (b. 1870), Ida May (b. 4/10/1871) & George Frederick (b. 1873) All 4 children died before their parents passed away.

Henry moved with his parents from Pennsylvania in 1829 to 73 acres in Whetstone Twp., Crawford County, OH. They traveled by a 3-horse wagon that took them a month to arrive at their new home in Ohio. Henry pretty much lived on the farm for most of his life until his death. He is buried at the Whetstone Cemetery across the street from Whetstone Baptist Church on Poe Road and is buried with Laura Jane. His parents are also in this cemetery.

Obituary in the Evening Telegraph on May 26, 1905 says he was born September 17, 1826, but gravestone says birth was 1827.
