Quincy - Hazel A, Pierce, 83, of 24 Berry St., a longtime Quincy resident, died Saturday at the Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Diedrich Funeral Home, with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
Mrs. Pierce was born Aug. 24, 1902 in Bronson, the daughter of Walter and Lulu (Walker) Potts. She married William Pierce on Jan 22, 1920 in Battle Creek. He died on Jan 21, 1971. She lived in Quincy for approximately 47 years.
Surviving are two sons, Wilfred Pierce and Donald Pierce, both of Quincy; two daughters, Mrs. Van (Wanda) Hilton of Quincy and Mrs. Iola Retherford of Minneapolis, Minn.; 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by on son and one daughter.
