NORTH TAZEWELL, Va. - Inda Belle Hall, 92, of the Baptist Valley section of North Tazewell died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004 in a Tazewell hospital following a brief illness.

She was born at Swords Creek, Va., and was the daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Ida Belle Breedlove Hale.

She had made her home in Tazewell County her entire life. Inda was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Tazewell Baptist Church and senior citizens organizations.

She was the widow of Jack Hall. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven sisters: Opal Honaker Altizer, Lida Miller, Kate Taylor, Lola Call, Daisy Dye, Hazel Brown, and Mary Strouth; and two brothers, Beechamp and Robert Hale. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Survivors include: Daughter: Mrs. Virginia Helen Hall of North Tazewell; son: Donald Curtis Hall and wife Sara of Radford, Va.; grandchildren: Donald C. Hall Jr. and wife Ruth, William Kent Hall and wife Karen, Johnny Reynolds, Jackie Horton and husband Thomas, Cathy E. Compton and husband Craig; great-grandchildren: Kimberly, Matthew, Sara, Lindsey and Lauren Hall, Cullen Compton, Amanda and Matthew Horton; a host of loving nieces and nephews, especially Peggy Beavers also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, Va. with the Rev. Sam Altizer officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, Va. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Thomas Horton, Kent Hall, Don Hall Jr., Johnny Reynolds, Craig Compton and Raymond Beavers. Tommy Bandy will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
