Myrtle Dickson, 90, died Friday, March 5, 1976 at a local nursing home in Frederick, Oklahoma.

Myrtle was born, July 13, 1885 in Chanute, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph M. & Lillie M. (Alison) Bower.

She moved to Snyder, OK with her family in 1901. She moved to Frederick in 1925.

She married William J. Dickson on Feb. 21, 1908 at Mountain Park, Oklahoma. He died Jan. 10, 1958.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Rebekah Lodge, and the Women's Study Club.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Doyle (Margaret) Peters of Frederick, OK; two sons, William Jr. of Perkins, OK, and Frederick Vernon of Chula Vista, CA; two sisters, Mrs. U.V. Jones of Lubbock, TX, and Mrs. Jack Richardson of Snyder, OK; three brothers, Sylvester "Vess" Bower of Norman, OK, Vern and J.D. Bower, both of Snyder, OK; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services will be today at the Dalton-McLellan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Gebhardt, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Frederick Cemetery.
